Donations
SCAN cannot provide the many
programs that we offer to prevent and treat child abuse without
the financial support of our community. There are several
ways to support our efforts.
Monetary Donations
Monetary donations are graciously
accepted via check, cash, money order or credit card.

SCAN cannot serve over 10,000 children and parents without
your help.
Join Friends of SCAN
Please be the friend the abused children
in our area need. Become a Friend of the Exchange/SCAN Center
for the Prevention of Child Abuse. To heal families and help
hurting children, we need your support -- through volunteer
time, contributions, and special skills. We also need people
to help spread the word about SCAN. Make a $25 or more tax
deductible donation to SCAN and you'll get the satisfaction
of knowing you've helped the most vulnerable members of our
community. You will also receive:
- Use of the SCAN library
- Invitations to special events, lectures,
free workshops, and training sessions.
- Our quarterly newsletter.
- A SCAN agency logo pin.
- Opportunities to lead the fight to prevent
child abuse!
Membership levels are:
Sponsor: $250 or more
Sustainer: $100 - $249
Patron: $50 - 99
Member: $25 - $49
Your support will help stop the hurt and
start the healing.
Donating Vehicles
C.A.R.S.
- Children Are Really Special is
a vehicle donation program of the National Exchange Club Foundation,
which provides important funding to the more than 70 National
Exchange Club Child Abuse Prevention Centers. By donating
your vehicle to C.A.R.S. you are helping save children from
the tragedy of abuse.
Donating Other
Items
SCAN accepts donations for all items for our clients.
You can bring items such as clothing for children and adults,
household items and appliances, children's furniture and household
furniture, baby items such as blankets, diapers, strollers
and cribs. Donations are accepted during office hours (Monday-Friday
from 8:00am-4:30pm). Other arrangements can be made for after
hours pick up or delivery.
