It also can be difficult, confusing and overwhelming.
No one is born a good parent. We learn parenting skills
along the way. Right from the Start Welcome Baby offers
support and information to women as they become new
parents.

Welcome
Baby is a program of community volunteers in NW North
Carolina. New mothers are paired with trained volunteers
who want to lend a helping hand. Volunteers visit with
you in your home or by phone when you have questions,
feel frustrated, need information or just want to talk
to someone. We are trained in child care, infant development
and community resources. Welcome Baby volunteers are
caring individuals who want to ease the difficult times
and share the joys of having a new baby.
